All About Reiki
and Holistic Health

Have you ever thought "how to start my spiritual journey"? Look no further, you will learn everything you need here!

What’s happening to the world?

The world we live in is undergoing radical changes. Just look around and you will see the truth. Storms and earth upheavals are unprecedented. Economics are faltering. Businesses are failing. Wars and disease and famine are taking an awesome toll. Some have predicted that we are in the end times.

You are witnessing the birth of the new earth. The earth of the future will be a place of peace, prosperity and unity. Before the new earth can form though, the old earth has to fall away. Before you can live in the new earth you need to become a new, lighter being – one who has released the heavy fear and judgment and pain that has been carried for much too long.

5 Reiki Principles

The First Reiki Principle: Just for Today, I Will Not Worry
This principle is all about living in the present moment and letting go of worry and stress. When you worry, you are only focused on the future and what might happen. This can prevent you from enjoying the present moment and can lead to anxiety and other health problems.

The Second Reiki Principle: Just for Today, I Will Not Anger
Anger is another negative emotion that can prevent you from enjoying the present moment. It can also lead to health problems such as high blood pressure and heart disease. If you find yourself getting angry, try to take a few deep breaths and focus on the positive things in your life.

The Third Reiki Principle: Just for Today, I Will Do My Work Honestly
This principle is about being honest with yourself and others. It’s important to always stay true to your values and beliefs. When you are honest with yourself and others, you will find that life is much more rewarding.

The Fourth Reiki Principle: Just for Today, I Will Give Thanks for My Many Blessings
This principle is all about gratitude. When you are grateful for what you have, you will attract more good things into your life. Make it a point to each day think of at least three things that you are grateful for. This could be something as simple as your bed or your favorite food. As I always say “wear gratitude like a cloak“.

The Fifth Reiki Principle: Just for Today, I Will Be Kind to Every Living Thing
This final principle is about compassion. It’s important to be kind not only to other people but also to animals and the environment. When you show compassion to others, they will often reciprocate. This can create a ripple effect of kindness that can make the world a better place.

These five Reiki principles are crucial in order for you to begin feeling your personal energy and opening up your spirit. These should be kept in you like a mantra and will help you also receive divine guidance.

What is Reiki?

A unique and highly efficient healing system developed by Dr. Mikao Usui

Reiki utilises divine energy that can be channeled by each one of us to bring healing to patients. It also has tremendous positive effects on its practitioners.

What is Holistic Healing?

Taking into consideration
Mind, Body and Soul

Holistic health is simply a life approach that considers the whole person – mind, body, and spirit. Starting a holistic life begins with increasing your awareness of all aspects of your being and making choices that will help you to be more centered and balanced.

It’s also called Zen Holistic Healing because its goal is to help a person with manifesting inner peace, much like the gurus achieve eventually.

Crown Jewels and the Importance of Parables to Spiritual Growth

Once upon a time there was a beautiful queen who gave birth to a princess. The queen loved the princess more than life, and worried every moment that some terrible thing would happen to her (it never did). The queen was always afraid that the kingdom would come under siege and they would loose everything (didn’t happen). But eventually the queen did die, and bequeathed all the jewels that had adorned her body for many years to her beloved child. The daughter wore the jewelry all the time – it was so beautiful and had belonged to her wonderful mother. The daughter was always fearful and anxious, usually for no apparent reason – more so every time there was a state dinner, and she wore the crown. End of story

What Does It Mean To Be At Peace With Yourself? – And Other Vital Ideas

You’ve heard the word. You’ve heard about it here. You’ve heard about it many places and in many ways. Do you understand it yet? Can you grasp what it will mean when you and everyone around you can ‘suddenly’ (after many long years of personal work) be at peace with themselves? The ascension is a lifting up of consciousness. It is a very individual experience. People of all walks of life experiencing the same thing: Being at peace with yourself. When you can be at peace in a room where everyone else in the room has found their own personal peace as well, you will be in unity consciousness. When you can be feeling your own loving heart center, and you find yourself in the company of others who have discovered their own loving heart center, you will be in unity consciousness. When you can understand your own personal connection to God, and you walk in the world, sharing the street with others who understand their own personal connection to God – then you will be in unity consciousness. Will we all think alike? No. Will we all want the same things? No. Will the different things we want and the different things we like all be beautiful and uplifting? Yes.Can you sit here and wait for a wave of ascension to overtake you? No. Even though there will be a time when the energies support this experience, it still requires a change of attitude and a shift of perspective from the ego self to the higher self. There are two ways to view this information. One is to be saddened that you can’t just sit and wait for this to happen to you. Another is to become empowered – and to realize that no one and nothing can hold you back from experiencing the greatest joy you have ever known. As it has been from the beginning – our lives are ours to experience, create, and change at will. May your continuing experience be up, up and away to a greater day.Blessings, Elaine

How energy is always fluctuating in the spiritual and physical worlds

Fluctuating Energies –

Do you resent having to get dressed over and over again, every single day? Do you object to getting hungry a few hours after your previous meal? Of course not. That’s life. It’s what we do. We understand the repetitive nature of our lives.

And yet, when it comes to spiritual practice, people often don’t realize it needs to be repeated again and again to make a difference. It happens to all of us. We can feel hungry and cold and don’t mind doing something it. We can feel ourselves slipping into anxiety or stress, and yet may not realize we could be doing something about that too.

Perhaps you don’t automatically think about it because you were never taught the basic principles of energy. Most people didn’t have that as part of their growing up experience. Energy is always around you and flowing through you. This energy is always fluctuating, just like the temperature. Sometimes, particularly if you are alone, or with a group of really like minded people, you can experience stable energy patterns for a while. Most of the time you go out into the world and interact and get bombarded with energy bands vibrating differently and often discordantly.

If you don’t have a secure plan in place to rebalance and readjust yourself over and over again, all day long, you can get irritated, upset, tired, stressed, anxious, worried, mad or sad and then get stuck there.

There is a simple solution – but it is not easy. Holding a vibration that you want should be the most natural thing in the world, but you were probably never taught how. Most of us have a lifetime of practice at not understanding what’s happening to us at all. It’s up to each one of us to search for techniques to keep ourselves centered. It’s our job to get to know ourselves and the best way to bring ourselves back into balance. We are the only ones who can release stuff we do not want to carry.

Here are several techniques you may want to start with, but please search for what works for you:

When you get dressed in the morning, also put on the gold white light of God. Just intend it to surround you and it will. Send out the intention to stay in your own energy when you move out into the world. (As long as you are in a good place to start with). Intend to be open to only beautiful, loving and kind vibrations coming your way. If you feel something negative directed at you, say ‘return to sender’ – or block it and transmute it with the violet flame of transmutation. Clear yourself periodically by imagining you are standing under a shower of God’s golden white love. If you feel lacking in anything – clarity or peace or joy or forgiveness – picture it as a present that you are offering to someone else, and try to remember what it feels like. If you feel scattered and unfocused, try to ground yourself by staying in the present moment. Look at your feet and hands, breathe deeply, and say ‘I am here, now, and I can do this’.

Many blessings, Elaine

An essay on the spiritual meaning of having important people in life

Just for a few minutes think about the important people in your life. They may be the ones you spend the most time with, or not. They may be the people you see at work every day, but not necessarily. They may be the people in your social network. What makes them important is how much time, thought, or energy you put into a relationship with them. Now think about how these people make you feel? Do you feel validated and valued when you are with them? Do they accept you as you are, even while encouraging you to be your very best? Do they listen to you and pay attention to your concerns? Do you feel safe, comfortable and relaxed when they are around? Do they try to be there for you? Can you trust them?Of course, we can’t always control who is in our family, or who we have to associate with at work. There are a lot of times, however, when we do have a choice regarding the people we allow into our lives, and who we give our energy and time to. Even with family, we get to determine how much time we spend around the ones that may be draining us.Sometimes relationships continue out of habit, even when they no longer make us happy. We owe it to ourselves to take an occasional inventory of the people in our lives. We owe it to ourselves to be courageous in ending things that aren’t working. We owe it to ourselves to keep looking for relationships that enrich us. What served us once may not serve us now, as sometimes people just grow apart. It’s important to remember, too, that if someone is not meeting your needs, you may not be meeting theirs either. That is not a question of fault or blame. Sometimes it just is, and both parties deserve more. Just something to think about today.Blessings, Elaine

How Many Critical Decisions Can You Make In A Day With a Decision Coin

Every day we make hundreds, or maybe even thousands of decisions and choices. Should I get out of bed now, or in two minutes? Maybe I’ll stay in bed for 3 or 4 more minutes. And then all the others – what to eat and what to wear and what to do first and what to do next and what to think. That’s a big one – what to think. From the first moment I arise I can choose to think about my problems or my blessings. I can tell myself I don’t have enough time, or I can tell myself I always have plenty of time for things of importance. I can watch the news on TV and allow myself to get upset by all the problems in the world, or I can bless the world and focus on myself and what I can bring to this day. I can take offense or I can let things go. I can worry or I can trust. I can stress myself out, or bring myself to a place of peace. I can react or I can respond. I can choose love or I can choose judgment. I can appreciate or I can criticize. I have absolute and complete power over my internal being. Sometimes it may not seem so. If it feels as though your emotions dictate your behavior, that is an untruth. On some level you are giving permission. If you have given away your power of decision to some part of you that seems beyond your control, then it is time to call it back. You, the powerful being that you are, get to make the choices for your life. When you find yourself in self-pity, you have given permission to reside there. When you find yourself angry, you have allowed yourself to be. When you decide that you have had enough self-pity or anger, you can choose to move back to a place of balanced, centered comfort. May you make the decision, in this moment, to accept your power. When you think about how many decisions are made in a day, may every choice you make bring you the joy you deserve. Namaste, Elaine

Earth Spiritual Changes – What is happening and what we can learn

Last weekend’s powerful earthquake has done more than change the physical make-up of the planet. It has done more than change some people’s lives on all levels. It has done more than once again open hearts. This earthquake cleared trapped negative energy – indeed energy that was so powerful it almost had a life force presence of its own.Last Sunday’s powerful full moon also illuminated this darkness and with the help of many cosmic forces, it has now been released from the earth plane. If there is one message now that should shine above all others, it is this: don’t judge by appearances. Don’t be concerned about the seeming mess the world is in. You are seeing an ending. You are watching what is leaving. It is up to us to create what will be coming in its place, but I know that there are many of you out there envisioning a brighter day. I have faith in the mass consciousness that wants justice, and peace, and abundance and love to be the order of the day. If we keep believing it, it will happen.

What’s happening to you?

We’re in the middle of a huge expansion of consciousness in our world.

It took a giant leap forward with the internet several years ago, and it’s growing exponentially. Never before have you had more information, more choices, more opportunities, and therefore more responsibilities, more stress, and more anxiety.

Never before have so many things that you used to count on fail before your very eyes. Never before have you had as many opportunities to re-create your life: your beliefs, your environment, your activities, your health, your joys and passions, your employment – everything that is you.

Who is behind all this?
